Memorial Monument Project

NOAAV is dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacy of Asian Americans who served in the U.S. military. We are proud to announce that we are initiating a memorial monument project for our heroes.

The Asian American Veteran Memorial Monument will be a tribute to our brave heroes who served in World War II, Korea War, Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War and Afghanistan War. Recognizing the contributions and sacrifices of their families and communities, it also serves as a place of education, inspiration, and reflection for future generations.

Asian Americans have been serving honorably in the U.S. military since the War of 1812. They have earned numerous awards and distinctions, including 31 Medals of Honor, the highest military honor in the U.S.. They have also formed some of the most decorated units in U.S. history, such as the 442nd Infantry Regimental Combat Team and the 100th Infantry Battalion in World War II.

We believe that this memorial monument will help raise awareness and appreciation of the Asian American veterans' story. It will also serve as a reminder of the values and ideals that they fought for: freedom, democracy, equality and diversity. We thank you for your interest and generosity. Together, we can honor the legacy of our Asian American veterans and celebrate their diversity and strength.
